Here you will find different fabrics which are homespuns, period fabrics and hand dyed fabrics for you to use in crafting, home decor and doll making.  It is sometimes difficult to find nice homespun fabrics and already grunged muslins and cheesecloth.  I am happy to offer all of these for you.  They come in one yard increments unless otherwise noted.  Some of the fabrics are already grunged for you and some are not so make sure to read the descriptions carefully.  If you find a fabric you like but would prefer to have me do the aging, I will do that for you at a small cost.  Please contact me for the information.

Primitive Embroidered Seed Bags
I have made up these seed bags and embroidered the front of them with three different primitive needfuls.  One is candles, one is soap and the third is seeds.  The bags measure 5" by 7" and I have super grunged them in my spice mixture.  You can purchase them individually or as a set.  Please make your selection below.

Cotton Batting Balls
These fabric balls make great bowl fillers.  I have made mine out of real cotton batting which I have super grunged in my spice mixture.  They are all fabric, not styrofoam in the middle.  You will get a set of 6 of these super grungy fabric balls.

Grunged Muslin Yardage
These one yard bundles of muslin come in two different degrees of grunging.  You can choose the lighter muslin or for that very dark aged look you would want to choose the darker one.  I have soaked the muslin in my spice mixture.  The darker one soaked overnight and then I dried them both by the fireplace.  I have let the wrinkles in them which I think gives them a nicer look.  You can iron the wrinkles out if you wish.  Please DO NOT WASH THE MUSLIN AS THAT WILL TAKE THE AGING OUT.  I have folded the yardage and tied them with grungy aged twine.  This fabric is great for making dolls, pillows, aprons, using for embroidering, topping pantry jars, etc....

Extremely Grunged Cheesecloth Yardage

Here I am offering  nice full yards of extremely grunged cheesecloth. You can use this for valances, lining bowls, hanging on peg racks, wrapping gifts for a great primitive look or display them just the way they come. I have soaked the cheesecloth overnight in my spice mixture and then air dried them in front of the fireplace. Each bundle varies slightly in aging because they are done one at a time. The cheesecloth bundle will come tied with twine and have a grunged tag.  The bundles are available in 1 yard, 2 yard and 5 yard bundles.  Please make your selection  below.

Grunged Flour Sack Towels

This is a great addition to any peg rack, cubbie or drying rack in your homestead. This is a flour sack towel which measures 28" by 30". I have soaked it in my staining solution then dried it out in the sun all day for an EXTREMELY grungy patina. This is a very large towel but can be used for almost anything. ©2007
