These dolls are all created and sewn right here in my workshop.  I really love the grungy dirty look as these dolls show.  I use many different materials to give a unique look to every doll.  Each doll is hand finished and individually grunged so that no two dolls are alike making each an original piece of folkart.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do creating them.

Miss Hannah Mae
I absolutely LOVED designing this doll.  It is my Hannah Mae doll and she is truly primitive.  Hannah is 25" tall, rag stuffed  and has a nice dress of pumpkin and tan check, muslin bloomers and a nice muslin pinafore on.  She has a black and check reproduction fabric field bonnet on which is gathered in the back.  I had originally designed her in 2008 and brought her back for a primitive friend and artist Doreen of Vermont Harvest Folk Art.  She loved the picture of her, so I made another one to offer to you.  I am also including a church doll for Hannah Mae so she has something to play with during services.  The church doll measures 7" tall and has her Sunday dress and cheescloth bonnet on.  A Pine Patch Primitives Original Design.

History of Dolls Set
I love American history and was researching early dolls. I found the story of these dolls and decided to make them just as they did and to offer them to you. There are four different dolls in this grouping. You will receive one of each of the dolls with this set. Each doll comes with it's own history which I have printed out on my aged parchment paper. The set includes the 'Revolutionary Knot Doll, The Leavings Doll, The Poppet Doll and The Hankerchief doll. The stories of these dolls history is amazing. These dolls were all hand sewn, no machine stitching here. The Knot doll is a set of 2, measuring 8" and 4.5". The Leavings Doll measures 6.5". The Poppet Doll measures 10". Children would put their hand inside the dress where there is a fabric handle to hold to make her a puppet. The Hankerchief doll measures 9" tall. Primitive Prairie Couple
These two dolls are great.  I have made them from cheesecloth and have hand sewn all of their features on.  The woman has a long braid of real wool and the man has just a touch of hair on the top of his head.  He also has a real wool beard.  Her dress is made from prairie cloth along with his pants.  He is wearing a vest made with cheesecloth.  They have been grunged to prim perfection.  Each doll stands approximately 7" tall and is a Pine Patch Primitives Original.  Sold as a set only.
